ELECTRICAL
Our electrical trade course is a program that teaches students the skills and knowledge necessary to become an electrician. The course covers topics such as electrical theory, wiring, conduit bending, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and safety precautions. Students are also provided with hands-on training to simulate real-life experiences.HVAC
Our HVAC trade course is a program that teaches students the skills and knowledge necessary to become an HVAC technician. The course covers topics such as electrical theory, refrigeration, air conditioning, heating systems, and safety precautions. Students are also provided with hands-on training to simulate real-life experiences.ROOFING
A roofing trade course is a program that teaches students the skills and knowledge necessary to become a professional roofer. The course covers topics such as roofing materials, safety precautions, installation techniques, and repair procedures. Students are also provided with hands-on training to simulate real-life experiences.WINDOW & DOOR INSTALLATION
Our Pella sponsored course provides a comprehensive training program for aspiring installers that combines classroom and on-site training. Upon graduation from the course, students should be able to install, maintain, and repair various types of window and door systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings .PAINTING & WALLPAPER
Our course covers topics such as surface preparation, paint selection, color theory, brush and roller techniques, and more. This include hands-on training to simulate real-life experiences.CLASS TIMES
Sunday 8 hours weekly for 24 weeks 8am – 5pm (including 1 hr break)
Monday 4 hours / Wednesday 4 hour class for 24 weeks (5pm – 9pm)
Tuesday 4 hours / Thursday 4 hours for 24 weeks (5pm – 9Pm)
Saturday 8 hours weekly for 24 weeks 8- 5pm (including 1 hr break)

WHY RR TRADE SCHOOL?
COMPARED TO UNIVERSITY
Unlike universities, trade schools offer a relatively simple admissions process. A high school diploma or GED certificate is generally required, but applicants do not need to submit test scores, essays, or letters of recommendation.

We offer hands on training with actual everyday equipment. This guarantees each and every student will not only be prepared, but with the successful completion of the course they will have the skill set to perform the tasks associated with the trade.

WHEN ARE THE COURSES?
Courses are in the evenings and on weekends for flexible scheduling. Classes are: M/W; Tu/Th; all day Saturday or all day Sunday. Currently we are open for registration for the upcoming cycles. Each term is 24 weeks long; 8 hours per week.
HOW DO I ENROLL?
To become enrolled in a program an individual must complete the application packet, attend a mandatory orientation.
HOW IS THE PROGRAM STRUCTURED?
Each course is designed to prepare students for the state certification test.
DOES RR TRADE SCHOOL HELP STUDENTS FIND EMPLOYMENT?
Yes, RR Trade School is partnered with multiple companies that will interview students as potential candidates for positions that are open (based on needs of a company and the current market). While employment is not guaranteed, many contractors contact the RR Trade School when they are looking to hire a new employee.

Absolutely, THE TRADES are hands-on careers. The RR Trade School has a workshop that is stocked with a wide array of tools, materials and equipment.
